Aster and Ace started with one very spirited five-year-old named Ava.
She’s a kid who knows exactly what she likes — and what she doesn’t. She loves golf, has a strong sense of self, and has absolutely no interest in bows, glitter, or anything that doesn’t feel like her. Finding golf-themed clothing that matched her personality, especially as a girl, turned out to be surprisingly difficult.
And when I did find something? It was almost always pink, frilly, or sparkly — which is wonderful for some kids, but just not for mine.
If you’ve ever helped a child get dressed for school (or anywhere, really), you know how much smoother the day goes when they actually like what they’re wearing. I wanted Ava — and kids like her — to feel confident in who they are and comfortable in what they put on each day. When I couldn’t find clothing that reflected that, I decided to do something about it.
That’s how Aster and Ace was born.
A Brand Built Around Confidence (Not Categories)
Aster and Ace is a mom-founded, family-run brand created for kids who love the game — and for families who want clothing that feels like real life, not a costume. Our goal is simple: to offer golf-inspired clothing that lets kids show off what they love without having to fit into someone else’s idea of what that should look like.
We believe confidence starts with comfort, and style should never force a child into a box.
Thoughtfully Curated, With More to Come
Today, Aster and Ace brings together a curated mix of original designs and thoughtfully selected pieces from other trusted brands. I’ve searched high and low — from well-known names to smaller, emerging brands — to create a collection that fills the gaps we kept seeing elsewhere.
Our lineup starts small and intentional, with t-shirts, sweatshirts, joggers, and a handful of baby pieces. As we grow, we plan to expand into additional sports and, eventually, design and manufacture more of our own products in ethically run facilities.
This brand is still evolving — just like the kids who wear it.
